The Edge Flow Sensor
The Edge Flow Sensor
(32)The EDGE Flow Sensor was built on a foundation of scalability, flexibility, and stability. Its small footprint and compact design allow for system design flexibility. The anodized aluminum housing protects electronics for outdoor use. The EDGE sensor incorporates innovative signal processing and a linearization table tool that increases your meter’s accuracy and allows for wider flow ranges. EDGE allows you to choose your output (pulse, analog, or Modbus). All setup and configuration is made easy via a Bluetooth mobile app or software toolkit. This is the standard flow sensor for use with all AW Gear Meter and Turbine flow meter applications requiring an analog, pulse, or Modbus output. The sensor comes with a MicroSD card for convenient data storage.
Available Outputs:
- Analog (4-20mA, 0-5V, 1-5V, 0-10V, or 2-10V)
- Frequency (push/pull, sinking or sourcing)

HUB-40EX Hazardous Area Rated Flow Sensor
The HUB-40EX Flow Sensor is certified for hazardous areas by CSA (US & Canada), ATEX, and IECEx. It features a NEMA 4X enclosure to protect from environmental conditions and has an integrated swivel union, allowing users to rotate for easy wiring. The HUB-40EX puts out a square wave output signal with a duty cycle of approximately 50%, which is protected by a self-resetting fuse. The easy thread-in installation means you are up and running in minutes.
Available Outputs:
- Frequency (square wave with 50% duty cycle)
EX Certifications:
- CSA (US & Canada)
- ATEX
- IECEx

HUB-40SD Flow Sensor
The pulse output HUB-40SD Flow Sensor is ideal for any industry or flow measurement application where a non-hazardous sensor is required. The HUB-40SD is available with and without a stainless steel NEMA 4X enclosure, which protects internals from moisture and debris, allowing use outdoors. Users choose from four sensor options: Hall (sinking), Hall (sourcing), carrier, or inductive.
Available Outputs:
- Frequency (square wave with 50% duty cycle)

FAC-R Frequency to Analog Converter
The FAC-R Frequency to Analog Converter is a handy tool for converting your frequency signal to an milliamp or voltage analog signal simultaneously. Manual switches allow you to set parameters for maximum frequency output, but this is done more easily and efficiently using the Bluetooth mobile app or PC software toolkit. The mobile and PC toolkit allow you to set flow units, time base, K-factor, and maximum flow rate. The FAC-R actually functions as a flow monitor where you can view real-time flow rate, input frequency, and analog outputs. You can also force a certain output and set up the linearizer using the toolkit.
Available Analog Outputs:
- 4-20mA
- 0-5V
- 1-5V
- 0-10V
- 2-10V
